Elxis 5.2 Dione is the new Elxis public release. With Elxis 5.2 you can edit CSS and JavaScript files directly from Elxis administration section. All extensions' CSS files and templates' PHP files can also be edited. Moreover Elxis Dione introduces the user.config files. These are files were you can store your custom CSS rules and javascript code. Elxis will load automatically these files last in order overwriting everything that comes from the extensions. No need to modify template's CSS files any more!
An other new cool feature is the copy of a template. You can select a template and click Copy. Elxis will copy it and perform renaming automatically on the template files and internal code. At the end you will have a brand new extension which you can further modify if you like. Finally a very useful new feature that will help you speed up your Elxis site is the plugins usage check tool. Select a plugin and click Usage. Elxis will search articles, modules, and open shop products and show you were the plugin is in use. If the plugin is not in use you can safely un-publish or uninstall it.
